Capitol announces February lineup

Burlington Theater has full lineup of regular, holiday events.

BURLINGTON - The Capitol is proud to announce February's film schedule, including Groundhog Day, Paprika, Dirty Dancing, Oscar Nominated Shorts, Frozen, Green Book, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
On Friday, February 2nd, celebrate Groundhog Day with the 1993 Bill Murray classic Groundhog Day (PG) showing at 7pm,
On February 7th, 8th and 11th Anime Expo Cinema Nights presents the last film by visionary director Satoshi Kon with his mind-bending 2006 thriller PAPRIKA (R), which has been restored in 4K for the first time. When a machine that allows therapists to enter their patients’ dreams is stolen, all hell breaks loose. Catch the subtitled showing of PAPRIKA at 7pm on Wednesday the 7th and the English dub version at 7pm on Thursday the 8th and again on 1pm on Sunday the 11th.
Celebrate the pre-Valentine's Day weekend with Dirty Dancing (PG-13), on Saturday the 10th at 7pm and enjoy a themed watermelon cocktail (Non-alcoholic version also available) during the evening from the Night Cap Listening Lounge and Bar!
Playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 16-18th are the 2024 Oscar Nominated Shorts (not rated) including Animated shorts on Friday, live action shorts on Saturday, and Documentary shorts on Sunday.
On Friday, February 23rd, celebrate a FREE showing of the 2013 Disney animated hit, Frozen (PG) at 2pm, in sponsorship from the Burlington Public Library.
Celebrating Black History Month, Southeastern Community College has sponsored 2 FREE movies in February, including Green Book (PG-13) at 7pm on Wednesday the 21st, followed by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (PG-13) at 7pm on Friday the 23rd.
Movie tickets at The Capitol are $8 for adults / $6 for seniors, kids & students and are available for purchase at BurlingtonCapitolTheater.com & the box office.
