Central Lee sets game at Field of Dreams

DONNELLSON - The Central Lee Community School District is excited to announce a unique and significant event: the Central Lee High School baseball team will play a memorable game against Hillcrest Academy at the Field of Dreams Movie Site in Dyersville, Iowa, on Friday, May 24, beginning at 6 p.m.
This event offers more than just a game; it provides players and fans with the chance to immerse themselves in the rich history of baseball on a field that has become iconic since the release of the beloved movie in 1989. It is expected to be a memorable experience, blending the passion for the game with the unique atmosphere found only at the Field of Dreams Movie Site.
"This is an incredible opportunity for our students and the community,” said Wes McGraw, Central Lee Activities Director. “Playing at the Field of Dreams Movie Site is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that goes beyond baseball. It's about making memories that will last a lifetime. We are all looking forward to stepping onto that field and feeling the magic that surrounds it. Let's make this game a home run for everyone involved."
The Central Lee community is encouraged to attend and show their support for the Hawks as they compete against the Hillcrest Academy Ravens in this historic setting.
