Sally Jean Barnum, 84, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 10:46 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Kahl Home in Davenport, IA.  She was born on February 25, 1940, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Gordon C. & Dorothy L. Gunderson Sly.  On May 26, 1961, she was united in marriage to Warren D. Barnum in Ogden, UT.  He preceded her in death on April 5, 2020.  Sally was a homemaker and also worked as a Land Title Abstractor until her retirement.  Sally was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Electa Chapter #32 in Muscatine, IA and was active in PEO in Fort Madison, IA.  She loved gardening and feeding and caring for the birds.Sally is survived by: 1-son: Tom (Christy) Barnum of Cibolo, TX; 1-daughter: Ann (Donald) Curnow of Andover, MN; 3-grandchildren: Rebecca Barnum of Bettendorf, IA, Daniel (Jeny) Barnum of Boone, IA, & Kerra Curnow of Andover, MN; and 1-great grandchild: Thomas Fenner Barnum.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
