Fern K. Martin, 96, of Keokuk, IA passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 at River Hills Village in Keokuk.
She was born October 7, 1927 in Edina, MO to Dave and Jennet (Hunter) Ausmus.
On October 26, 1946 Fern was united in marriage to Oral Glen “Bud” Martin in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1991.
Fern was a loving mother, grandmother, and a caring, helpful friend to those that knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Wright (Jack) of Keokuk, two sons Buddy Martin (Bonnie) of Kahoka, MO and Chuck Martin (Debbie) of Montrose, IA, eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Fern was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Glen “Bud” Martin, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
A private family graveside will be held at Frazee Cemetery.
The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA is assisting the family with arrangements.
