The Lee County Sheriff's office reported a one-vehicle accident on Dec. 4.
Benjamin M. Roberts, 32, of Burlington lost control of his 2006 Ford Ranger on snow covered roads heading north on Hwy 61 at about 12:05 p.m. Saturday
No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Roberts lost control on the snow covered roadway and started sliding on the roadway, then slid sideways into the east ditch before colliding with an Iowa Department of Transportation work zone sign, knocking it over. There was minor damage to the sign.
