Fort Madison Police Report

01/12/17 - 10:02 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 2600 block of Avenue I.

01/12/17 - 10:16 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 2300 block of Avenue I.

01/12/17 - 2:47 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested Jennifer Gayle Traman, 29, no address given in, the 800 block of Avenue G on a warrant service for probation violation. She was taken to the Lee County Correctional Center and held.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

01/12/17 - 11:15 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joshua Allan Eaton, 39, of Keokuk, in the 2600 block of Kramer Lane, Keokuk, on a charge of violation of a custodial order. He was taken to the Lee County Correctional Center and jailed. He was later released on bond.

01/12/17 - 3:25 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin Warren Bryant, 34, of Keokuk, in Lee County Drug Court on a charge of violation of a no contact order. He was taken to the Lee County Correctional Center and jailed.

It should be noted a criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
