KAHOKA - For only the second time this year, the Fort Madison boys varsity team has lost two games in a row.

And even more rare is that the Hounds were outscored in each quarter as they fell to Clark County, Mo. 59-46 on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup.

The game was close out of the gate with the Hounds trailing 12-11 going into the second quarter led by Treavor Kokjohn's five points. But he would be the only one doing scoring in the second quarter accounting for all of the Hounds 9 points in the period, while FMHS had dug itself into a 23-18 hole.

Clark County pushed its lead to eight after three quarters 38-30 and then cruised through the fourth quarter outscoring the Hounds 21-16 behind Chandler Bevans' 12 points. Bevans led all scorers with 24 on the night.

Kokjohn finished the game with 21 points, the second game out of the last three that he's scored more than 20. Junior Kaleb Cresswell had 11 points for Fort Madison and senior CJ Richardson had 9. Landon Bentley added 3 and Austin Rose added a bucket.

The Hounds fall to 9-5 on the season and host 6th ranked Mt. Pleasant on Friday.
