03/11/17 - 12:36 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a gas drive off in the 1200 block of Avenue H.

03/11/17 - 12:41 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1300 block of Avenue E.

03/11/17 - 5:41 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a gas drive off in the 5000 block of Avenue O.

03/12/17 - 12:38 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1400 block of 37th Street.

Lee County Sheriff's report

03/10/17 - 8:07 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Carin Ann Ison, 34, of Fort Madison in the 1400 block of 155th Avenue in Houghton on a charge of 5th degree criminal mischief. She was taken to Lee County jail and released on her own recognizance.

03/10/17 - 8:40 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jon Myron Nickel, 52, of Koekuk in the 200 block of Bank Street in Keokuk on a charges of public intoxication, 3rd or subsequent offense, and fifth degree theft. He was taken to the LeeCounty Jail and released on his own recognizance.

03/11/17 - 1:23 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin Dwain Britton, 33, of Wever, in the 3700 block of 185th Street in Wever on a charge of domestic abuse/assault-3rd offense. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on bond.

03/11/17 - 8 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Apryle P. Lawson 42, of Missouri at the Linn County Jail in Cedar Rapids on a warrant for unauthorized use of credit. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

03/11/17 - no time given, Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a juvenile on charges of willful injury causing bodily injury and going armed with intent. He was taken to the Southeast Iowa Detention Center and held.

03/11/17 - 11:23 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Matthew Joe Townsend, 27 of Keokuk, in the 100 block of Washington in Keokuk, on a warrant for failure to appeal, and charges of no insurance and driving under suspension. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and then released after paying a fine,.

03/12/17 - 2:24 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Trevor Nicol, 25 of Wilton Iowa, on charges of driving while license revoked and a temporary hold warrant. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

03/12/17 - 10:13 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Paula Jo Spring, 50, of Mt. Pleasant, on charges of OWI-1st offense, possession of a controlled substance - prescription drug, driving under suspension, no insurance and failure to yield upon entering a thru highway. She was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

03/12/17 - 9:21 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy 27 and 200th Street. A vehicle driven Allissa Korinne Carlson, 24 of Fort Madison struck a vehicle driven by Paula Jo Spring, 50, of Keokuk. According to the sheriff's report, Spring was either turning westbound onto 200th Street or completed a U-turn from the northbound lane of Hwy 27 to the southbound lane. Spring's car entered Carlson's lane and Carlson's vehicle struck Spring's vehicle. Carlson's vehicle then rolled over coming to rest facing east bound on its top. Spring's vehicle came to rest facing west in the southbound land. Spring was charged with OWI-1st offense, no insurance, driving while suspended and failure to yield. Occupants in Carlson's vehicle were transported to Fort Madison Community Hospital. Occupants in Spring's vehicle refused treatment.
