Calletana “Kay” R. Juarez, 88, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 9:41 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Fort Madison Community Hospital. She was born on August 7, 1928 in Fort Madison, IA to Felipe & Amada Aguilar Limas. She married Jesse Juarez on October 22, 1952 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1967. She was an assembler at the Sheaffer Pen Company and was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed going on walks, doing word puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune and family mystery shows on TV.

Kay is survived by: 1-daughter: Rochelle (Eric) McGruder of Marion, IN; 2-sons: Jesse Juarez of Fort Madison, IA & Daniel (Lauri) Juarez of Dubuque, IA; 9-grandchildren; 16-great grandchildren; 2-brothers: Robert (JoAnn) Limas of IL & Raymond (Theresa) Limas of WI and 1-sister: Beatrice Picon of CA. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 1-son: David, 3-brothers & 4-sisters.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Joseph Phung officiating. Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
