KEOKUK - The Holy Trinity Crusaders dropped a 4-1 decision to Keokuk in boys high school soccer action Tuesday night.

Aden Alfred scored the only HTC goal on corner kick with an assist from Adam Rauenbuehler. Bailey Merschman had 16 saves in the game for HTC.

"The team struggled to communicate, which led to breakdowns in the midfield and the defense and Keokuk took advantage of our breakdowns," said head coach Ryan Culbertson. "Keokuk also won every 50/50 ball and every second chance ball."

The Crusaders are coming off a 2-1 performance on Saturday at the Fort Madison Invitational at the Baxter Sports Complex.
