04/13/17 – 11:18 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Taylor Russell Young, 21, on a charge of driving while barred in the 2800 block of Avenue O. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/14/17 – 1:53 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested William Earl Jones, 52, of Fort Madison on a charge of disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of Avenue E. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/14/17 – 7:43 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism on Sunnyside Drive.

04/14/17 – 1:58 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Adam Andrew Nolz, 30, no address given, on charges of trespassing, simple misdemeanor and on a warrant out of Mt. Pleasant. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/14/17 – 5:17 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a property damage accident in the 2200 block of Avenue L.

04/14/17 – 5:39 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of Avenue C.

04/15/17 – 2:30 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited and released Amber Cabel, 28 of Burlington on a charge of disorderly conduct.

04/15/17 – 2:37 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Heather Leann Guinard, 35 of Burlington on a charge of disorderly conduct and a warrant for failure to get fingerprinted. She was taken to the Des Moines County line.

04/15/17 – 2:37 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited and released Dezzerrae M. Lucas, 26, of Burlington on charge of disorderly conduct.

04/15/17 – 7:41 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 400 block of 14th Street.

04/16/17 – 9:44 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 400 block of Avenue D.

04/16/17 – 5:09 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Avenue D.

04/16/17 – 10:32 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 700 block of Avenue D.

04/16/17 – 10:52 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Rhonda Moyers, 38, of Fort Madison on warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to Des Moines County Jail and held.

04/17/17 -3:07 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 300 block of 3rd Street.

04/17/17 – 4:35 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the alley of the 1700 block of Avenue E.

Lee County Sheriff Record

04/13/17 – 12:00 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Romi Mokihana Jensen, 46, of Mt. Pleasant at the Henry County Jail on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

04/13/17 – 2:39 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Alex Joseph Derr, 30 of Keokuk, no location given, on court-ordered hold. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/14/17 – 2:33 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Megan Jessica McMillan, 35, of Ottumwa, in Ottumwa on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

4/14/17 – 3:07 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 218 north of Donnellson. A vehicle driven by Caleb Zebediah Hathaway, 19, of Kahoka struck the back end of a farm tractor driven by Steven J. Wilson, 62 of Donnellson. Wilson’s tractor was hauling a lawn mower on a trailer and the trailer and tractor were overturned causing injuries to both parties. Wilson was air lifted to a regional hospital. Hathaway was transported to Fort Madison Community Hospital. Hathaway was also cited for following too closely.

04/15/17 – 1:58 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Gene Ash, 38, of Burlington in the 3400 block of Avenue L, on charges of OWI and driving under suspension. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/15/17 – 8:33 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyler Jordon Sturm, 27 of Keokuk, in the 3500 block of Johnson Street Road in Keokuk on a charge of domestic assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held until released on 4/16/17 on bond.

04/14 – Fort Madison Fire responded to 4 medical calls and two assist calls

04/15 – Fort Madison Fire responded to one burn complaint.

04/16 – Fort Madison Fire responded to 2 medical calls, an NH3 leak at Axalta, one burn complaint, one call for mutual aid for Montrose.

  1. What is up with these pretend not to know parents allowing all the burglaries? Yes I am talking about you irresponsible parents that are aware that your teenager is out running at night, you keep your kid home for 2 weeks and if the burglaries significantly decrease BINGO! You may still have the opportunity to teach your child respect. Explain to them do not do to others what you wouldn’t want done to you. Do parents ever try to teach their kids right from wrong these days?
