FORT MADISON - Fort Madison freshman Tommy Wade shot a career-best 42 in a Bloodhound second-place finish in a triangular Monday.
Fort Madison played host to Washington and Fairfield at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in boys high school golf action.
Washington won the meet with a 159 and had both medalist Jacob Van Osdal, who shot an even par 36, and the runner up Brick Jobaski with a 40.
Wade led the Hounds with his 42, just two strokes off the medalist runner-up honor. Tristan Reida shot a 48, followed by CJ Richardson's 49, Tyler Otool shot a 50. Brandon Keester and Bill Young shot a 54 and 57, respectively
The Hounds play in a Washington Invite this Saturday.
