Branstad, officials attend IFC ribbon cutting

WEVER – Iowa's Governor Terry Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds attended the Iowa Fertilizer Company ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon in Wever alongside IFC CEO N.V. Nassef Sawiris and other state and local officials including Lee County Supervisors. Also on hand were Michael Bennett, President and Chairman of OCI N.V., Ahmed El-Hoshy, CEO of OCI Americas, Larry Holley, President of Iowa Fertilizer Company, and Darrell Allman, Site Operations Director of Iowa Fertilizer Company, and area media outlets.

The group attended the ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00 p.m. to celebrate the start of production, followed by a guided tour of the facility.
