Dennis E. Cramblit, 64, of Ft. Madison passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 4:58 AM at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on September 24, 1952 in Ft. Madison to Tom and Lorraine Marshall Cramblit. Dennis was a commercial fisherman and especially loved fishing for catfish. He was also a graduate of Ft. Madison High School and loved dogs.
Survivors include two daughters, Heather (Chad) Whitmore of West Burlington and Farrah (Michael) Cramblit-Denicolo of Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin; four granddaughters, two grandsons and one great grandchild; one brother, Scott (Terry) Cramblit; two sisters, Julie (Monty) Weiler and Tena (Mike) Dodson all of Ft. Madison and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be held in Montrose Cemetery at a later date.
