Lady Hound runners 4th at Keosippi Relays

KEOKUK - The Fort Madison Lady Hounds mixed things up a bit in Keokuk Tuesday and finished fourth at the Keosippi Relays.

Brett Schneider took a break from the 800-meter run and instead took a whack at the 400-meter hurdles and came away with first place in that event with a time of 1:07.72. She also claimed first in the 400-meter dash with a 1:01.74 time.

The Fort Madison 4x800 relay team also took first place with a 10:10.10 time. Sierra Howardson claimed third place in the 1500-meter run with a mark of 5:14.84, while the 4x400-meter relay team also scored for FMHS with a 4:34.21 third-place finish.

The Drake Relays are set for Thursday and the girls travel to Fairfield on Monday.
