Fort Madison Police Department Report

05/01/17 - 8:07 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block.

05/01/17 - 10:42 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 500 block of 2nd Street.

05/01/17 - 4:05 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 5400 block of Avenue O.

05/01/17 - 4:23 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 3000 block of Avenue N.

05/01/17 - 5:53 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a gas drive off in the 5000 block of Avenue.

05/01/17 - 6:57 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Kenneth Eugene Morrison, 22 of Burlington in the 2700 block of Avenue L on a warrant for probation violation.

05/01/17 - 8:39 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested Erica Ann Boudrea, 27, of Fort Madison, at the Fort Madison Police Department on charges of driving while barred, leaving the scene of an accident and no insurance. She was released on a promise to appear.

05/01/17 - 8:41 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 300 block of 10th Street.

05/02/17 - 7:20 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2500 block of Avenue H,

Lee County Sheriff's Department Report

04/28/17 - 3:14 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 27 southbound. According to a report, a vehicle driven by Kenneth Dale Sommerfeld, 55, of Washington swerved to miss a deer and entered the west ditch and struck a DOT sign and rolled an undetermined amount of times. Sommerfeld and a passenger, Randall Sommerfeld, 54 of Fort Madison were both ejected. A third passenger Kathy Ann Clair, 54 of Fort Madison was still in the vehicle. Clair and Kenneth Sommerfeld were transported to University of Iowa hospitals by helicopter. Randall Sommerfeld was transported to Henry County Medical.
