Fort Madison boys 4th at Fairfield Invite

FAIRFIELD - Hampered by being short one golfer, the Fort Madison boys golf team took fourth place at the Fairfield Invitational Wednesday evening.

Mt. Pleasant won the meet behind the even par 76 turned in by Jeff Cox. Medalist was Centerville's Colton Belloma who carded a 1-under-par 75.

Fort Madison was led by Tristan Reida's 88. Bill Young and Tommy Wade went 2nd and 3rd with a 94 and 95 respectively. Tyler O'Toole finished with a 98 and Brandon Keester, who led all Bloodhounds on the front nine with a 44, came in on the back nine with 59 for a 103.

The boys travel to Mt. Pleasant on Friday with a triangular meet against Mt. Pleasant and Washington.
