Bahl misses state cut by 2 strokes

IOWA CITY – Holy Trinity Catholic’s Cameron Bahl shot an 85 at Pleasant Valley Golf Course, site of the Class 1A District golf tournament.

In the individual final rankings, Bahl finished in a tie for 11th place on the par-72 course. Bahl shot a 40 on the front nine, including two birdies and a 45 after the turn with no birdies. He carded a two-over 7 on the 505 yard par 5 6th hole for his highest hole on the day, but managed 4 3s including the two birdies on the front.

Bahl fell two shots shy of qualifying for the state tournament.

The event was the last outing for HTC on the year.
