HTC 7th graders knock off New London again

FORT MADISON – Holy Trinity Catholic’s seventh grade softball team improved stayed unbeaten with a 7-4 win over New London Thursday. It was the second time the two teams had meet in two days.

Mary Hellige got the win pitching six innings and striking out 10. Raquel Schneider led the Crusaders going 2 for 2 at the plate with a walk and a run scored. Anna Sobczak went 1 for 1 with two walks and a run scored.  Kayla Box had a hit and a run scored. Laura Mehmert went 1 for 2 at the plate. Kelli Meierotto walked and scored a run. Jenna DiPrima went 1 to 1 with a walk and 2 runs scored. Rachel Menke went 1 for 2 with a run scored.
