Two-vehicle accident stops traffic at Hwy 2, X23

FORT MADISON - A two-vehicle accident occurred at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Hwy 2 and x23. Lee County Sheriff deputies and the Donnellson Fire & Rescue responded to the scene that had traffic stopped in both directions on Hwy 2 for about 3o minutes. Two Lee County EMS ambulances were dispatched to the scene but no information was available on injuries. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
