Fort Madison Police Report

06/16/17 - 2:55 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested a juvenile in the 2700 block of Avenue N on a charge of willful assault and going armed with intent. He was taken to the Southeast Iowa Juvenile Detention Center and held.

06/16/17 - 4:04 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested Korderrick Jacolby Jefferson, 29, of Fort Madison in the 1100 block of 22nd Street on a charge of domestic abuse assault-2nd offense. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

06/17/17 - 12:05 a.m. - Fort Madison police cited and released Bradley Michael Dettmers, 32, no address listed, at 23rd Street and Avenue L on a charge of driving while suspended.

06/17/17 - 1:05 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1700 block of Avenue E.

06/17/17 - 3:12 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 2400 block of Avenue L.

6/17/17 - 7:45 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested Kimberly Sandeffer Boorman, 32 of Fort Madison after serving two warrants. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

06/17/17 - 8:19 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 600 block of 7th Street.

06/17/17 - 11:35 p.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Harmony Court.

06/18/17 - 12:03 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary on Harmony Court.

06/18/17 - 1:11 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 100 block of 25th Street.

06/18/17 - 1:27 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 1100 block of 22nd Street.

06/18/17 - 8:10 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 600 block of 5th Street.

06/18/17 - 8:33 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested Bette Lou Royer, 50, of Fort Madison, in the 1700 block of Avenue G, for OWI-1st offense and driving while suspended. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

06/18/17 - 9:03 p.m. - Fort Madison police cited and released Dakota Brice Dunn, 24, of Fort Madison, on Alta Drive for failure to have animals vaccinated.

06/19/17 - 1:00 a.m. - Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1800 block of Avenue J.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

06/16/17 - 4:04 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy. 61 south. According to reports a motorcycle driven by Courtney Allen Kellum, 33 of Keokuk, approached a vehicle ahead too fast and entered the median where he was thrown from the motorcycle. He was transported to Keokuk Area Hospital with injuries. No citations were issued at the scene, however the accident remains under investigation.

06/16/17 - 6:52 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jayme Thomese Jenkins, 31, of Fort Madison on a judgement hold. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on 06/18/17 for serving weekends.

06/16/17 - 9:29 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kevin Eugene Wilson, 58, of Burlingtoin, no location given, on a warrant for violating a no-contact order. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on 6/17/17 on his own recognizance.

06/17/17 - 4:54 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin Craig Stonehouse, 30 of West Point on a temporary hold order. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

06/18/17 - no time given - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Zackery Charles Franks, 29, of Fairfield at the Jefferson County Jail on a warrant for 4th degree theft. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on 06/18/17 on his recognizance.

06/18/17 - 2:23 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Taj Michael Kite, 28 of Donnellson, in the 2700 block of 195th Aveneu on a charge of criminal trespass and 3rd degree harassment. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

06/18/17 - 10:18 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Bette Lou Royer, 50, of Fort Madison at the Lee County Sheriff's office for assault with injury to a law enfocement officer. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.
