Fort Madison Police Report
06/23/17 – 8:27 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 300 block of 10th Street.
06/24/17 – 4:19 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Tommy Lee Goines, 27 of Fort Madison, in the 400 block of Vica Lane on a charge of serious domestic abuse assault. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.
06/25/17 – 1:05 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited and released Sarah Alexandrea Growe, 18 of Fort Madison, in the 2400 block of Avenue A on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lee County Sheriff’s Report
06/23/17 – 6:32 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cody John Huffman, 27, of Clinton, Ill., at the Lee County Sheriff’s office on a judgement entry. He was released on 06/24/17 for time served.
06/23/17 – 8:37 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Lee Bigelow, 63 of Warsaw, Ill., at the Lee County Sheriff’s office on a judgement entry. He was released on o6/25/17 for time served.
06/25/17 – 2:23 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on 300th Street. A vehicle driven by Karen C. Metzinger, 62, of Dunlap, Ill., was eastbound on 300th Street and drove off the roadway into the south ditch and continued through the ditch for about 80 yards. Vehicle had damage down passenger side and minor injuries were sustained. No citation was issued at the scene.
06/26/17 – 6:12 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 218 near 180th Street. A vehicle driven by Dennis Andrew Brumeau, 24 of Louisville, Ky., hit the shoulder and over corrected and lost control. The vehicle crossed the median into oncoming traffic ending in the east ditch where it rolled over one time, coming to rest on the tires. No injuries were reported, the vehicle sustained heavy damage and Brumeau was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to have a valid driver’s license.
