Francisco to resign as Chamber Coordinator

FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Partners will be looking for a new Chamber Coordinator this month.

Current coordinator Laura Francisco has submitted her resignation effective July 15th.

Francisc0, who declined to comment when reached on Wednesday, has been the coordinator for the past four years and will be taking a part-time position in Burlington.

Phone calls to Fort Madison Partners Executive Director Tim Gobble also were unreturned.

Angie Budnik, Chairperson of the Fort Madison Chamber of Commerce board of directors, said the board will start the process of searching for a new coordinator within the next week.

“Laura has been instrumental, in her role as the Chamber Coordinator, in helping the FM Chamber be successful over the past four years. We wish her the very best as she moves onto her next position. We will begin the search for a new Chamber Coordinator within the week looking to recruit another strong candidate to help us continue on our path of success for the benefit of our members.”
