Concert in the park this Sunday

FORT MADISON - This Sunday the Ft. Madison City Band will once again be performing in Central Park at 7:30 p.m.

This week’s concert, sponsored by Scotts Company, will be featuring Karl King’s Call to Victory, Saturn: the Ringed Planet by Rob Romeyn, Phoenix Overture by Jim Curnow, Rainy Days and Mondays, Men of Ohio by Henry Fillmore, Lemon Merengue by Hugh Stuart, Frank Erickson’s Rhythm of the Winds, Karl King’s The Trombone King, Dreams by Robert W. Smith, Cotton-Eyed Joe, and ending the concert with a rendition of the Clear Track Polka.

Bring a picnic, a lawn chair or enjoy the concert from one of the provided benches at 7:30 p.m.
