Dennis G. “Denny” Blint, 67, of Denmark, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at his home.
BLINT
He was born on November 2, 1949 in Ft. Madison to Glenn and Dorothy Pickle Blint. On April 29, 1972 he married Joyce Lowenberg in Donnellson. Denny worked at DuPont and retired after 43 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, mushrooming, squirrel and rabbit hunting. Denny always stayed busy and enjoyed helping people. He loved his family and spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Blint of Denmark; a daughter, Abby (Justin) Capps of Donnellson; a son, Jake (Renee) Blint of Denmark;; grandchildren, Taylor, Ethan, Lauren, Kirklynn and Renee’s sons; Josie, Jacob and Jordan; six brothers, Richard Blint of Denmark, Gary Blint of West Point, Roger Blint of West Point, Sam Blint of New London, Ike Blint of West Point and Steven Blint of Denmark; four sisters, Judy Chapman of New London, Jennie Morris of Warsaw, Janie Blint of Mt. Pleasant and Janette Wolfe of West Point; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harvey and Greg Blint.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 2 PM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Chad Savage officiating. The family will meet with friends from 12 PM until the time of the service at 2 PM. A private family burial will be in Denmark Cemetery.
