Nauvoo Bagpipes end season for City Band Sunday

FORT MADISON - This Sunday the Ft. Madison City Band will once again be performing in Central Park at 7:30 pm, but starting at 6:45 pm the Nauvoo Bagpipe Band will be performing. This week’s concert, sponsored by Charles W. Homes and the DuPont Corporation, will be featuring: River of Life; Where the Black Hawk Soars; The Dragon Prince; Legacy; Light Cavalry Overture; El Festivo; Nine to Five; Old Tent Meeting; and more. Bring a picnic, a lawn chair or enjoy the concert from one of the provided benches at 7:30 pm; let the kids enjoy the playground while listening to the City Band. This week’s concert will be the final concert of the City Band’s 87th summer season
