Fort Madison Police report

07/19/17 – 12:28 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of 15th Street.

07/19/17 – 2:09 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1700 block of 35th Street.

07/19/17 – 11:38 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of property damage accident in the 600 block of 10th Street.

07/19/17 – 6:02 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary on Cindy Drive.

07/19/17 – 10:13 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny theft in the 5400 block of Avenue O.

07/20/17 – 12:22 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jessica Kim Bower, 26, of Fort Madison, in the 1900 block of Avenue F, on a charge of 1st degree harassment. She was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

07/20/17 – 11:09 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 5000 block of River Valley Road.

07/20/17 – 11:13 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1400 block of 34th Street.

07/20/17 – 11:25 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 700 block of 18th Street.

07/20/17 – 5:00 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1500 block of Avenue H.

07/20/17 – 5:58 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 500 block of 11th Street.

07/20/17 – 7:59 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested a 13-year-old female on charge a simple assault. No disposition was reported.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report

07/19/17 – 11:54 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 northbound. A vehicle driven by Tammy Jo Duckstein, 48 of Fort Madison drove off the right shoulder and after being overcorrected slid sideways before rolling and coming to a stop on it’s tires under an overpass at mile marker 27. Duckstein was extricated from the vehicle and transported by Lee County EMS. She was cited for failure to maintain control.

07/19/17 – 4:50 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tonya Ann Garnsey, 40, of Burlington, at the Lee County Sheriff’s office on a warrant for 5th-degree theft. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

07/20/17 – 9:51 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Brandy Lynn Sturm, 26, of Keokuk in the 3500 block of Johnson Street Road, on a warrant for perjury. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

07/19/17 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to three medical and one false alarm.

07/20/17 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to four medical calls.
