Fort Madison Police report

07/25/17 - 11:29 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

07/25/17 - 1:00 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Jonathon Michael Juhl, homeless, 29 of Fort Madison and Nikki Necole Fowler, homeless, 26, of Fort Madison in the 1800 block of 35th Street on charges of third-degree theft. They were taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

07/25/17 - 4:57 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Lisa Marie Johnson, 29, of Fort Madison in the 200 block of 2nd Street, on warrants for failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear on fifth-degree theft. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

07/25/17 - 6:08 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Boyd Michael Sutton, 35, of Fort Madison in the 4500 block of Avenue O on a charge of simple domestic abuse. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

07/26/17 - 7:48 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1800 block of Avenue H.

07/25/17 - 8:11 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue H.

Lee County Sheriff's report

07/25/17 - 8:38 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the ramp of Hwy 61 and Hwy 2. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Julie Diane Westfall, 59, of Donnellson struck the back end of a vehicle driven by Devon Connor Ball, 17, Donnellson. No injuries or citations were reported.

07/25/17 - 9:40 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Lee Cooper, 41, of Centerville, in the Davis County Jail on warrants for failure to appear and driving under suspension. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released after fine paid.

07/25/17 - 2:15 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Obie Taylor II, 38, of Burlington at the Lee County Sheriff's office on a warrant for failure to appear on a citation. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

07/25/17 - 3:24 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Melinda Ann Pollmeier, 30, of Mt. Pleasant on a warrant for possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine. She was released on bond.

Fort Madison Fire & Rescue report

07/25/17 - Fort Madison firefighters responded to two medical calls and a fire call that was out on arrival.
