RiverFest 2017 is chalk full of events for the competitive and skill-minded, kicking off with the recently added World Series of Beer Pong tournament on Thursday.

Thursday afternoon opens competition with open and tournament play for a chance to win entry into the Las Vegas World Series of Beer Pong. The winning two-person team for the tournament, which is slated for 4 p.m. to midnight, will be able to compete for $60,000 in the WSOBP-13.

Saturday kicks off a full day of competition starting with the RiverFest 5K along the Mississippi River. Registration for all events is still available online at www.riverfestfm.com. Following the 5K are the RiverFest Games which begin at 9 a.m. through completion of the final events.

A sand volleyball tournament begins at 9 a.m. with co-ed teams of 6. Entry fee is $50 and anyone under 18 years of age must have a parent permission form. All participants are encouraged to register online before Saturday to increase the speed of Saturday registrations. Coolers are welcome at RiverFest Games but alcohol is not allowed to be brought onto the property due to permitting.

Pickleball participants can also come out during RiverFest to compete and learn about the game from the nation's largest pickleball equipment supplier, Onix. Pickleball is open for recreational play from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

For each tournament, anyone under 18 must have a parent permission to play and all participants will be required to sign a RiverFest Games Sport Participation Waiver.
