08/06/17 - 3:08 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the1800 block of Avenue E.

08/06/17 - 4:01 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Anthony Delynn Slack, 26 of Fort Madison, in the 2900 block of Avenue H, on a charge of domestic abuse assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

08/06/17 - 10:38 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 5100 block of Avenue O.

08/06/17 - 10:48 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Tevin Michael Black, 23 of Fort Madison was cited and released after being charged with driving under suspension and failure to yield at a stop sign.

Lee County Sheriff's report

08/04/17 - 9:27 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kaci Dawn Shackleford, 37, of Fort Madison in the 6200 block of Avenue O, on a court-ordered hold. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

08/04/17 - 11:30 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Stacy Lynn Thurman, 29 of Montrose, in Montrose on a warrant for 4th-degree theft. She was taken to Lee County Jail and then released on bond.

08/04/17 - 1:22 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the 3100 block of 270th Avenue. A vehicle driven by Justin Paul Walte, 17, of Keokuk, lost control and entered the ditch. No citations or injuries were reported at the scene.

08/05/17 - 6:10 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 3500 block of Argyle Road. According to reports Bailey Nicole Wyrick swerved to miss a deer and rolled her vehicle suffering severe injuries to her neck and middle finger. She was transported by Lee County EMS to Keokuk Area Hospital. She was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to maintain her seatbelt.

08/05/17 - 10:59 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Argyle Road and 340th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Harold Edward White, 70, of Keokuk, was headed northwest on Argyle when a deer came out of the ditch. White swerved to miss the deer and lost control of the vehicle and it rolled and came to rest on it's top on the left side of the roadway. No citations or injuries were reported at the scene.

08/05/17 - 12:42 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Elizabeth Jane Dawson, 22, of Argyle sideswiped a vehicle driven by Rina Lynn Veltri, 51, of Centerville, Tenn. Veltri had slowed to turn around on Hwy 2 westbound and Dawson swerved to miss Veltri's vehicle but collided with side. Dawson was cited for unsafe passing.

08/06/17 - 3:51 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Harold Eugene Wilson, III, 30 of Montrose, no location given, on charges of OWI-1st offense, failure to maintain control and operation without registration. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

08/06/17 - 4:36 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gordon Ryan Johnson, 30, Montrose, no location given, on charge of OWI-1st offense, failure to maintain control and transporting an open container. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

08/06/17 - 9:27 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Franklin Eugene Cady, Jr., 51, of Keokuk, at the Lee County Sheriff's office on a warrant for 2nd-degree theft. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on bond.

08/06/17 - 7:24 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Zachary Joseph Derr, 28, of Keokuk, no location given, on a charge of violation of probation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

08/06/17 - 7:55 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2200 block of 220th Street. A vehicle driven by Reese William Krebill, 16, of Donnellson suffered a blown tire and the vehicle left the roadway and traveled through the ditch before coming to rest. No injuries or citation were issued at the scene.
