FORT MADISON - 2017 marked Cryotech Deicing Technology’s 25th Anniversary. Cryotech celebrated throughout the year with a ‘Quarters of Giving’ campaign. Each calendar year quarter focused on a different theme – Community, Monetary, Environment, and People.

During the Community Quarter of October through December 2016, Cryotech employees participated in charity events of their choosing including Santa’s Workshop, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, PAWS Animal Shelter, and the Ft. Madison Parade of Lights.

January kicked off the Monetary Quarter. Employees volunteered to raise money for a favorite charity. Creativity shined with the variety and energy dedicated to fundraising events. In the end, Cryotech employees presented over $9,000 to local charities.

April began the Environment Quarter. Once again, employees participated in various local community clean-ups. This included an environmental day where employees partnered with Living Lands & Waters to adopt a one mile section along Cryotech’s riverfront property. Over 1,000 pounds of trash was collected and removed from the banks of the Mississippi River.

The final quarter focused on People. The year-long ‘Quarters of Giving’ campaign culminated with a celebration luncheon in mid-July. Over 150 attendees, including employees, families and business partners visited the Cryotech manufacturing facility in Southeastern Iowa. Attendees enjoyed a catered lunch, facility tours, along with the history of Cryotech.

“Twenty-five years ago, Cryotech had four founding employees and one product,” said Craig Starwalt, President and CEO of Cryotech. “We have enjoyed continued growth and expansion over the years and now operate in five market segments with multiple product offerings within each. We look forward to future success and anniversaries.”
