Documentary to be part of Saturday ISP tour

FORT MADISON - Eisentraut Theatres and Humanities Iowa are pleased to announce the Premiere of the Documentary, “The Fort: 177 Years of Crime and Punishment at the Iowa State Prison,” on Saturday, October 7th, 7:30 p.m., at the Fox Theatre at 831 Avenue G in Fort Madison. The film runs approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

The premiere will be held as a follow-up to the day-long tours being offered at the historic Iowa State Prison. Prison officials have indicated the tour dates of Oct. 7 and 8th are more than 50% sold out and those interested are encouraged to get their tickets before they are sold out. Only 1,000 tickets are being sold for each tour date with the tours lasting approximately 90 minutes each.

Director Dan Manatt will be on hand to introduce the film and will stay afterwards for a Q & A session in the theatre.

A limited number of tickets for the documentary are on sale now for the cost of $8.00 which includes admission, soda and popcorn.
