St. Clair and Bentley named Fiesta royalty

FORT MADISON – The 95th Annual Mexican Fiesta runs through Saturday night in the neighborhood of 34th and Avenue Q.

Friday night featured the crowning of the Mexican Fiesta Queen and Princess. Amanda St. Clair, 15 and Maleena Bentley, 9, earned the honors this year. Following the announcements dance troups performed traditional Latin American dancing followed by music, food, carnival events.

The Fiesta continues tonight with a street dance, carnival and the popular traditional food offerings and the beer garden.
