Lady Hounds spikers continue winning ways

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Bloodhound volleyball team has won six matches in a row including Tuesday night's three-set win over Mt. Pleasant to highlight girls' volleyball action.

Leigh Johnson had 36 assists after coming off an Holy Trinity Classic where she had 106 in five matches, to lead setting for FMHS in the 25-19, 25-15, 25-12 win. She also went 8-of-9 serving.

Josie Pumphrey had 16 digs and went 9-of-11 serving with two aces. Amber Dilsaver had 16 kills on the night, three blocks, and was 9-of-11 serving with two aces. Kaeli Hutson was a perfect 11-of-11 serving with two aces. Kamryn Bailey had 11 digs and three aces on 11-of-17 serving. Shyla Farmer had eight kills in the match.

The Hounds are 15-4 overall and 5-0 in the Southeast Conference.
