Linda Sue Baier, 75, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 2:37 a.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA. She was born on December 15, 1941 in Naperville, IL to Mary Zemborski. She married James A. Baier on April 8, 1961 in Wheaton, IL. She was a legal secretary and also taught modeling at the Patricia Vance Modeling Agency in Chicago, IL in her younger years. Her mission in life was to take care of Jim and to help him grow their businesses. She loved her children and grandchildren, watching the Green Bay Packers, listening to the Bee Gees and spending time with Jim in Florida and Minnesota.
Linda is survived by: her husband: Jim Baier of Fort Madison, IA; 1-daughter: Mindy (Ted) Goldie of Donnellson, IA; 2-sons: Michael (Patricia) Baier of Elko New Market, MN & Jamie (Danette) Baier of Fort Madison, IA; 12-grandchildren and 4-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her mother and 2-sisters, Beverly Mothes & Mary Boehmer.
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 with the family to receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. that evening at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Steve Hoecker officiating. Burial will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery.
