Russell P. Wenke, 59, of rural Argyle, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 PM at The Madison.
He was born on January 24, 1958 in Sioux City, IA and raised and loved by Henry and Patricia Sutcliffe Wenke. Russell was a lifelong farmer and also drove school bus for Central Lee School District. He was a volunteer for the Argyle Fire Department for numerous years and loved his animals, Skeeter and Cutie Pie.Russell enjoyed going out and spending time with his friends.Rick and Donna made sure all of Russell’s remaining days were filled with love and laughter.

Survivors include his brother Rick (Donna) Wenke of Ft. Madison; several nieces and nephews, great nephews and one great niece.He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
The family will meet with friends from 1-3 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.The graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Mark P. Spring officiating.
