King-Lynk obituary - Sally Estrada, 92, Fort Madison

Sally Estrada, 92, of Ft. Madison passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 12:30 PM at the Montrose Health Center.
She was born on August 20, 1925 in Ft. Madison to Lino and Altagracia Valdivia Estrada. Sally worked at Sheaffer Pen in her early years and later was a housekeeper. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Her ideal Sunday was going to the services and then eating at her favorite restaurant Vel’s Amigos. Sally enjoyed country music, playing the piano and singing. Sally was a very humble lady and loved spending time with her family and was a beloved aunt who was very special to all of her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include one sister, Frances Garcia Becerril of Ft. Madison and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Dean Graber officiating. The family will meet with friends from 12:30 until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
