HTC boys take 5th at Mediapolis Invite

MEDIAPOLIS - The Holy Trinity boys cross country team took fifth place at the Mediapolis Invitational cross country meet Thursday night.

Sophomore Matt Hellige got his usual top five finish with third place run at the meeting finishing at 17:45, :58 off the pace set by Peter Woodward of Iowa City Liberty.

The Crusaders' Jacob Mohrfeld finished in 21st place at 20:04 just :03 ahead of HTC's Ben Abolt. Brant Holtkamp finished 32nd at the meet with a time of 20:43. Sam Avery rounded out the scoring for Holy Trinity at 47th with a time of 21:38. The Crusaders finished with 113 points.

Liberty won the meet with 39 points. Danville-New London finished second with 91 points, West Burlington-Notre Dame took 3rd with 92 points and Mediapolis placed 4th with 105.
