Fort Madison Police Department Report

10/12/17 – 8:51 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1300 block of Avenue B.

10/12/17 – 10:30 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1100 block of 24th Street.

10/12/17 – 10:40 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3300 block of Avenue L.

10/12/17 – 10:40 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited and released Julia Ann Smith, 18, of Donnellson, in the 3300 block of Avenue L for following too closely – accident related.

10/12/17 – 12:04 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 2200 block of Avenue E.

10/12/17 – 3:09 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2300 block of Avenue J.

10/12/17 – 10:05 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 4600 block of Avenue J.

10/12/17 – 11:20 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited and released Khalil Tre’Shon Wise, 22, of Keokuk in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

10/13/17 – 12:44 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited and released Russell Arlo Young, 41, of Fort Madison, in the 5400 block of Avenue O, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Lee County Sheriff’s Department Report

10/12/17 – 10:24 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Maxwell John Charles Savage, 26, of Keokuk at the Lee County Sheriff’s office on a warrant for violation of probation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

10/12/117 – 2:26 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Brandon LeRoy Hammel, 23 of Benson, Minn., at the Lee County Sheriff’s office on a warrant for violation of probation. He was released.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
