Bradley W. Keester, 74, of Ft. Madison, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 4:00 AM at the West Point Care Center.

He was born on January 18, 1943 in Ft. Madison to Arleigh and Mae Story Keester. On April 24, 1965 he married Jeanne Moline in Ft. Madison. Brad worked for BNSF and retired on February 1, 2003 after forty two years of service. He was an avid bowler and also enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing and attending his grandchildren’s events. Brad was known by all to tell a good joke.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Keester of Ft. Madison; a son, Larry (Carol) Keester of Ft. Madison; a daughter, Karrie (Doug Daines) Keester of Montrose; four grandchildren, Dalton, Devin, Brandon and Faith; two brothers, Larry Keester of Davenport and Roger Keester of Bettendorf; a sister, Karen Gillette of Ft. Madison; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and five sisters.

The family will meet with friends from 1-3 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. Per his wishes, his body will be cremated following the visitation. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10 AM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Rodney Bussard officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
