Kevin Gerard Fritzjunker, 56, of Keosauqua, Iowa, passed away at 11:57 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, Iowa.
Born September 22, 1961 in Fort Madison, Iowa, he was the son of Joseph Otto and Velda Mae (Dalrymple) Fritzjunker. In 1984, he married Angela Muller. They later divorced. In 1990, he married Yvonne Hoenig. They later divorced. In 2008, he married Kathy Lyon. They later divorced.
Survivors include one son, Daniel Joseph Fritzjunker of Burlington, Iowa; one daughter, Katy Fritzjunker of Keosauqua, Iowa; five grandchildren, Hayden Marie Patchett, Autumn Marie Fritzjunker, Adrianna Nicole Snyder, Adara Marie Glick, and Marshall Mahlon Glick; two brothers, Mike (Kathy) Fritzjunker of Chelsea, Oklahoma and Gary (Monica) Fritzjunker of West Burlington, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ronald Joseph, in 1993; and three siblings in infancy.
Kevin was a past member of Fort Madison FFA and was a member of ABATE. He worked as a truck driver. Kevin enjoyed riding motorcycles, farming, and joking with his friends. He also enjoyed showing livestock and attending county fairs. Kevin was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He especially loved spending time with his children.
The family will meet with friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Schmitz Funeral Home in West Point.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Schmitz Funeral Home with Father Dennis Hoffman officiating.
Follow the service, cremation will be entrusted to Schmitz Funeral Homes.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
