11/09/17 – 11:18 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Michael Alan Pauly, 26, of Fort Madison in the 1100 block of Avenue I, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/10/17 – 1:57 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in at the intersection of 10th Street and Avenue H.

11/10/17 – 3:33 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3300 block of Avenue L.

11/10/17 – 5:56 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 700 block of Ninth Street.

11/10/17 – 11:35 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1200 block of Avenue H.

11/11/17 – 1:56 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Avenue F.

11/11/17 – 2:22 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jason Matthew Slaughter, 38, of Fort Madison, in the 1100 block of Avenue F, on a warrant for voluntary absence of custody. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/11/17 – 3:15 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Mike Randall Allen, 37, of Fort Madison at the Fort Madison Police Department on a charge of OWI-1st offense . He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on his recognizance.

11/11/17 – 9:27 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1700 block of Avenue I.

11/12/17 – 12:09 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a personal injury accident in the 2000 block of 290th Avenue.

11/12/17 – 2:11 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Mat Evert Kitchen, 40 of Ashland, Ken., in the 400 block of 10th Street, on a charge of domestic abuse/simple assault. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/12/17 – 7:31 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3000 block of Avenue H.

11/12/17 – 7:59 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in progress on Sunnyside Drive.

11/12/17 – 12:33 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2100 block of Avenue H.

11/12/17 – 9:09 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3000 block of Avenue H.

11/12/17 – 9:50 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3400 block of Avenue L.

Lee County Sheriff’s report

11/09/17 – 4:16 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyler Keith Jennings, 30, of Montrose, no location provided, on a charge of criminal trespass. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

11/09/17 – 4:18 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jacob Anthony Haage, 24, of Montrose, on warrants for theft in the fifth degree, theft in the first degree, no insurance, failure to obey stop sign/yield right of way (x2), reckless driving, driving under suspension, theft in the 2nd degree and eluding. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/10/17 – 1:15 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Paige Ellen Barker, 20, of Donnellson, in the 2800 block of Belfast Road, on a charge of possession of alcohol under legal age. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

11/10/17 – 1:15 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kylie Jo Gray, 18, of Argyle, in the 2800 block of Belfast Road, on a charge of possession of alcohol under legal age. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

11/10/17 – 4:42 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Zachary Joseph Derr, 28, of Keokuk, at the Lee County Sheriff’s office on a warrant for violation of probation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/10/17 – 7:38 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeremy James Devolt, 27, of Keokuk, in the 2500 block of 255th Avenue on a charge of simple assault. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

11/11/17 – 12:55 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Todd Fraser, 50, of Phoenix City, Alab., in the 1700 block of Green Bay Road on a charge of OWI-1st offense. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

11/11/17 – 1:30 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 61 near mile marker 22 where a car had struck debris in in the roadway. A vehicle driven by Chad Monroe Winters, 64, of Wayland, had struck a large rock in the roadway. No citations or injuries were reported at the scene.

11/12/17 – 12:16 a.m. – Lee County deputies responded to a one-vehicle motorcycle accident in the 2000 block of 290th Avenue. According to the report, a motorcycle driven by Richard Jay Wells, 46, of Fort Madison left the roadway and struck a street sign. Wells was ejected from the motorcycle and hit a guide wire from a utility pole. He was taken to Fort Madison Community Hospital and was then transferred to Blessing Hospital in Quincy in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

11/12/17 – 10:20 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Hwy X23 and 240th Avenue where, according to the report, a tire had come off a vehicle driven by Mary Karen Cavanaugh, 51, of West Point. There were no injuries or citations reported at the scene.

11/10/17 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to one attic fire, one medical call, one carbon monoxide check and one burn complaint
