- December Temperature and Precipitation Outlook - Seasonal Drought Outlook
NOAA's December temperature and precipitation outlook has just been issued. This outlook calls for equal chances for either above or below normal December temperatures for most of the corn belt. This outlook calls for above-normal precipitation over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes and equal chances elsewhere. December Temperature Outlook Brown = Above Normal Blue = Below Normal December Precipitation Outlook Green = Above Normal Brown = Below Normal Seasonal Drought Outlook - Through February Other than isolated spots, drought is not expected to develop over the corn belt through February.
