Fort Madison Police Report

12/07/17 – 6:17 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2600 block of  Avenue L.

12/08/17 – 1:12 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Brittney Clair Connelly, 30, of Fort Madison in the 3600 block of Avenue O,on a charge of driving under suspension. She was released with a court date.

12/08/17 – 2:30 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue.

12/08/17 – 3:52 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 700 block of 10th Street.

12/08/17 – 4:42 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run at the intersection of 27th Street and Avenue L.

12/08/17 – 7;06 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 500 block of 14th Street.

12/08/17 – 9:05 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 4800 block of Avenue O.

12/08/17 – 8:57 p.m. – Fort Madison Police cited April Dawn Stegall, 26, of Fort Madison, in the 3900 block of Avenue L on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released upon citation.

12/08/17 – 10:30 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Mickey Lyle McFadden, 43, of Fort Madison in the 1700 block of Avenue G on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released upon citation.

12/09/17 – 10:13 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 500 block of Avenue G.

12/09/17 – 12:49 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Michael Forrest Uhlig, 21 of Burlington, in the 1700 block of Avenue H, on a warrant out of Des Moines County. He was taken to the Des Moines County Jail.

12/09/17 – 3:14 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 400 block of Avenue A.

12/09/17 – 4:38 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run on Alta Drive.

12/10/17 – 1:21 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 2000 block of Avenue E.

12/10/17 – 1:37 a.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Jason Tod Willits, 27 of Fort Madison in the 2000 block of Avenue E on a charge possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

12/10/17 – 1:32 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of fatality accident in the 2400 block of Hwy 2.

12/10/17 – 1:43 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1700 block of 39th Street.

12/10/17 – 7;52 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1100 block of Avenue E.

Lee County Sheriff’s report

12/07/17 – 7:24 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident in the 1500 block of Hwy 218. A vehicle driven Seth Van Roosendaal was traveling southbound and went off the left side of the road, lost control and overturned. Van Roosendaal sought medical attention at FMCH. No citations were issued at the scene.

12/07/17 – 10:14 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Adam Ray Sutton, 39, of Fort Madison at the Lee County Jail on a warrant violation of probation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

12/08/17 – 9:58 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Travis Claude Seidel, 42, of Fort Madison in the 500 block of 21st Street, on two charges of possession of other controlled substances.

12/08/17 – 10:42 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyrone Lee Wilson, 42, of Fort Madison at the North Lee County Courthouse on a court ordered hold. He was released for a transfer.

12/08/17 – 2:42 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Lee Davis, 37 of Keokuk, at the Lee County Jail, on two warrants for theft in the 3rd degree. He was taken to the Lee County jail and held.

12/08/17 – 5:18 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Dean Bigelow, 62, in the 2500 block of Middle Road, on a warrants for possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance violation, possession of a controlled substance use in a structure or vehicle, and a charge of driving while suspended. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

12/10/17 – 1:50 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Matthew Wayne Land, 55, in the 3500 block of Hwy 218, on charges of driving under suspension, speeding, three charges of possession of a controlled substance and one charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

12/08/17 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to three medical calls and one burn complaint.

12/09/17 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to two medical calls.

12/10/17 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to one carbon monoxide alarm and one medical call.
