Robert Frank Samuels, 76, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 4:44 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Fort Madison Community Hospital. He was born on March 28, 1941 in New Brunswick, NJ to Frank & Viola Wistuba Samuel. He married Carol A. Rudy on August 7, 1965 in Sayerville, NJ. He was a supervisor at DuPont with 38 years of service and served in the U.S. Air Force and was a former member of the Moberly, MO American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports and going to Casey’s in the morning to visit with people.

Bob is survived by: his wife: Carol Samuel of Fort Madison, IA; 1-daughter: Francine (Tim) Roling of Cole Camp, MO; 2-sons: Robert Samuel of St. Augustine, FL & Dave Samuel of Moberly, MO; 5-grandchildren: Logan, Alaina, Ashley, Nolan & Skylar; 1-great grandson: Alexander & 1-brother: Jim (Linda) Samuel of Bricktown, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A private family service will be held and burial will be at Soldiers’ Circle in Oakland Cemetery.
