Sally V. Walker, 85, of Keokuk, IA died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Montebello Health Care Center in Hamilton, IL.

She was born on December 21, 1932 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy Schargits Sharp. Sally graduated from Ramona High School in Ramona, CA with the Class of 1950.

She first married John Tolmosoff and to this union five children were born, Shirley, Debbie, Larry, Lisa and Cindy. They later divorced. On December 22, 1978, Sally was united in marriage to Dale Walker at First Christian Church in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1999.

Sally enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing cribbage, pinochle and spades. She also was a diehard scrabble player and Words with Friends player. She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed crime fiction novels. She really enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking and baking for her family. Sally was a loving mother and grandmother and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Henson of Keokuk, Lisa Tolmosoff of Keokuk and Cindy Snyder (Terry) of Hamilton, one son, Larry Tolmosoff of Ramona, CA, two step-sons, Roger Walker and Alan Walker, four stepdaughters, Denise Bakkum, Gina Fox, Beth Niemi and LeAnn Hasness, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step- great-grandchildren and many sisters and brothers.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Tolmosoff and one grandson, Mike Harvey.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Neeper Cemetery in rural Kahoka MO.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 am – 1 pm at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with family meeting with friends at that time.
