Daniel “Dan” Diveley, 69 of Keokuk, IA died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Lexington Square in Keokuk.

He was born April 28, 1948 in Bremerton, WA the son of Jack & Glendola White Diveley. On May 31, 1984 he was united in marriage to Jill Boehm Bode in Jefferson City, MO. She survives.

Other survivors include, two daughters, Natalie (Matt) Little of Moro, IL and Nikkie Hansberry Vandy-Griff of East Alton, IL and one step-son, Troy Bode of Keokuk, six grandchildren, Abbey, Paige and Peyton Little, Ryan and Gauge Kite and Seth Bode, three brothers, Terry (Deb) Diveley of IL, Keith (Bobbie) Diveley of IL and Kent Diveley of FL and three sisters, Sandy Clark of N.C., Pam (Steve) Purcell of TN and Sherri (Rich) Strohmeier of IL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Diveley and father-in-law, Rex Boehm.

Dan graduated from South Roxana High School in Roxana, IL. He then furthered his education and attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL.

Dan proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and had served on the USS America.

Dan had been employed by several construction companies through the years. He worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections in Jefferson City, MO during most of his later years.

Dan was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and never missed watching a game.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA is assisting the family with arrangements.
