02/16/18 - 7:05 p..m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of burglary in the 2300 block of Avenue M.

02/17/18 - 12:12 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of hit and run in the 1300 block of 14th Street.

02/17/18 - 2:12 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Levi Ian Swanson, 28, of Burlington, at Johannsen Drive and Highway 61 in Burlington on charges of eluding police and assault causing bodily injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held. He was also cited for driving under suspension.

02/17/18 - 8:20 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1500 block of Avenue M.

02/17/18 - 10:09 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary on Tammy Lane.

02/17/18 - 11:18 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident at 11th and E.

02/17/18 - 11:18 a.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Cory Jacob Porter, 23, of Fort Madison in the 1100 block of Avenue E for driving under suspension and operating an unregistered vehicle. He was released upon citation. Fort Madison police also cited Kurt Michael Kenel, 36, of West Point for failure to yield right of way. He was also released after citation.

02/17/18 - 12:20 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of property damage accident in the 500 block of 2nd Street.

02/17/18 - 3:26 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 4600 block of Avenue J.

02/17/18 - 4:05 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of property damage accident in the 3400 block of Avenue L.

02/17/18 - 4:56 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Hayley Rayes-Barrera, 33, of Fort Madison at the police department on two counts of forgery. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/1718 - 7:53 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3000 block of Avenue P.

02/17/18 - 10:05 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of stolen vehicle in the 2600 block of Avenue G.

02/18/18 - 1:34 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Justin Phillip Kirchner, 45, of Fort Madison in the 1200 block of 38th Street on a charge of OWI - 1st offense. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/18/18 - 9:52 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Christopher Edward Guzman, 18, of Fort Madison at the police department on a charge of 3rd-degree burglary. He was released on a promise to appear.

02/18/18 - 9:57 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run reported at the police department.

02/18/18 - 10:28 p.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Samantha Sue Dowell, 21, of Fort Madison in the 2700 block of Avenue O for simple assault. She was released upon citation.

02/18/18 - 11:46 a.m. -Fort Madison Police arrested Joseph Theodore Gene Gray, 33, of Fort Madison, in the 1000 block of 32nd Street on a warrant for probation violation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on bond.

02/19/18 - 11:23 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

02/19/18 - 12:19 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 5400 block of Avenue O.

02/19/18 - 4:43 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of shoplifter in the 4800 block of Avenue O.

02/20/18 - 7:49 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of property damage accident in the 2400 block of Avenue A.

Lee County Sheriff's report

02/16/18 - 1:07 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jessica Kim Bower, 27, of Fort Madison on a charge of failure to appear. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/16/18 - 4:03 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Terry James Schoonover, 47, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on bond.

02/16/18 - 8:08 p.,m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christina Marie Markey, 51, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on a court order release.

02/17/18 - 9:36 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on St. Paul Road near West Point. A vehicle driven by Andrea Lynn Gunther, 36 of West Point, had slid off the road into a ditch.

02/17/18 - 10:54 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies cited Andrea Lynn Gunther, 36, of West Point, in the 2100 block of St. Paul Road in West Point for driving while license revoked. She was released on a promise to appear.

02/18/18 - 10:08 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident near the intersection of 303rd Avenue and Hwy. 61. A vehicle driven by Brianna Jo Layman had slipped down a ditch and into a small creek. Layman said she had the accident the night before and was coming back to get the vehicle out of the ditch. No citations or injuries were reported at the scene.

02/19/18 - 10:17 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tiffany Renee Turner, 29, of Kahoka, Mo.,, in the 3800 block of Main Street in Keokuk, on a warrant for forgery. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on bond.

02/19/18 - 2:18 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christopher Michael Sanderson, 45, of Keokuk, at the intersection of 340th Street and Hwy 27, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.

02/19/18 - 7 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Steven Edwin Carlisle Sewell, Jr., 41 of Burlington at the Des Moines County Line, on a warrant for failure to appear.. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.
