Louis “Louie” Gail Larsen, 69, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 11:29 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, IA. He was born on October 31, 1948 in Keokuk, IA to Warren & Ruth Fisher Larsen. He married Victoria A. Fisher on August 14, 1979 in Las Vegas, NV. He worked in the construction industry for many years and retired from the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and enjoyed mushroom hunting, old tractors & cars, working with his model steam engine collection, going boating and being at home. He was raised on a farm and loved farm life.

Louie is survived by: his wife: Vicki Larsen of Fort Madison, IA; 1-brother: James (Ann) Larsen of Montrose, IA; 5-nieces & nephews: Debbie (Mike) Beman of Rockford, IL, Tommy (Miranda) Fisher of Keokuk, IA, Donna (Kurt) Warner of Rockford, IL, Sarah (David) Mitchell of Keokuk, IA & Kris (Terri) Fisher of Keokuk, IA and several great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents & 1-brother: Lauren “Butch” Larsen.

Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 with the family to receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Ss. Mary & Joseph Church with Rev. Mark P. Spring officiating. Burial will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, IA. A memorial has been established for P.A.W. Animal Shelter or Heifer International.
