Task force busts FM drug house

FORT MADISON - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Keokuk, Iowa man and a Fort Madison, Iowa couple on felony and misdemeanor drug charges in unrelated cases.

OSTERHOUSE

Jeannie Sue Breashears, 33, and Trinity Allen Osterhouse, 39, both of 1976 265th Ave, Fort Madison, Iowa were arrested on March 22, 2018 at their residence on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. Breashears is charged with:

⦁ Possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver in excess of five grams while in possession of a firearm, a class B felony with an enhancement.

⦁ Drug tax stamp violation, class D felony.

⦁ Maintaining a drug house, an aggravated misdemeanor.

⦁ Seven counts of possession of a controlled substance (Marijuana, Adderall, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Alprazolam, Phentermine, and Clonazepam, a serious misdemeanor.

⦁ Possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

Osterhouse is charged with:

⦁ Maintaining a drug house, an aggravated misdemeanor.

⦁ Possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

If convicted, Breashears faces up to 64 years and 30 days in a state correctional facility. If convicted, Osterhouse faces up to 2 years and 30 days in a state correctional facility.

The arrests of Breashears and Osterhouse stem from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that they were involved in the use and distribution of illegal narcotics in the Lee County area. A search warrant was served in connection with this investigation and items that support the charges were discovered.

ANDERSON

In an unrelated matter, Jacob Allen Anderson, 28, of 315 N 9th Street, Keokuk, Iowa, was arrested on March 23, 2018 on multiple warrants. Anderson is charged with:

⦁ Delivery of methamphetamine less than five grams second or subsequent offense, a class C felony with an enhancement.

If convicted, Anderson faces up to 30 years in a state correctional facility.

The arrest of Anderson stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved with the distribution of methamphetamine in the Keokuk area.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, and the 8th Judicial District of Probation and Parole assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
